Ajo is a tiny community 38 miles north of the Mexican border in Arizona. This photo was sent to the Marty O’Brien Collection from Elinor Patton  (WAF 1950-1952), Ajo, AZ.

The Arizona Korean War Memorial has bronze plaques containing the names of the 280 Arizonans who gave their lives in the Korean War.
