Mr. Coon: I make a motion: be it known this day that by approval
and consent of the Executive Board of Korean War Veterans, Incorporated,
Mr. John P. Maison, III, is hereby appointed to the position of
Treasurer and financial officer to be effective August 9th, 1994.

Mr. Burke: I’ll second it for discussion. The bylaws authorize
the President to appoint a Treasurer and/or Secretary or both,
and we talked about this last night, John. [Page 43, transcript]
Participant: Move the question.
President Pappas: Okay. Any more questions? (No response.) All
in favor of signing this resolution?
Mr. Burke: Aye. It’s coming around.
Participant: I haven’t seen it yet.
President Pappas: Any nays? (No response.)
RESOLUTION: Be it known this day that by approval and consent
of the Executive Board of the Korean War Veterans Association,
Inc., Mr. John P. Maison of Fairview Heights, Illinois is hereby
appointed to the position of Treasurer and Financial Officer, to
be effective August 9, 1994.
