Introduction

The Battle Report was an oral history newsletter published out of Nashville, Tennessee, beginning in September of 1989.  The newsletters were devoted primarily to the Korean War from June of 1950 through July of 1953, concentrating on Marine and naval operations, and covering those Army operations that affected the Marines, or wherein Marines and Army were jointly involved, such as on the Pusan Perimeter in August of 1950 and at the Reservoir during the winter of 1950.  Copies of The Battle Report were donated to the Korean War Educator by past editor Ray L. Walker of Tennessee and Sallie Dalton of West Virginia.  We're looking for more issues and would appreciate hearing from readers who might have back issues.  Contact Lynnita.
